Returns and Refund Policy

At My Little Fan, each product is custom-made specifically for you. This may include reproducing the colours, patterns, logos, names, numbers or other design elements provided or requested as part of your order.
Because customised products cannot ordinarily be resold, we do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind. This policy does not exclude or limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-mind returns
We do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds where:

you change your mind after placing an order;
-
you no longer require the product;
-
you select the wrong product, size, style or quantity;
-
the recipient does not like the product;
-
the product does not fit because an incorrect size was selected;
-
you provided incorrect names, numbers, wording, colours, images, logos or design instructions;
-
an uploaded image or design file was low-resolution or poor quality; or
-
you approved a design proof that contained an error.
Please carefully review all product selections, sizing information, spelling, numbers, images and design details before submitting your order or approving a design proof.
Order changes and cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your order.
We may be able to make changes or cancel an order if design or production work has not yet commenced. Once design work, manufacturing or printing has begun, the order cannot usually be changed or cancelled.
Any cancellation or change that we agree to may be subject to a reasonable charge for design work, administration, materials or production costs already incurred.
Submitting a request does not guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled.
Design proofs and customer approval
Where we provide a digital design proof, it is the customer’s responsibility to carefully check:

spelling, names and numbers;
-
colours and design elements;
-
logos, images and placement;
-
garment type, style and size; and
-
any other customised details.
Production may commence once the design is approved. My Little Fan is not responsible for errors that appeared in an approved proof unless the finished product materially differs from that proof.
Digital proofs are intended to provide an approximate representation of the finished product. Minor differences may occur between colours displayed on a screen and colours appearing on the finished product because of screen settings, printing processes, garment materials and manufacturing variations.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
Please contact us if your product:
-
arrives damaged;
-
has a manufacturing or printing fault;
-
is different from the product or approved design you ordered;
-
is the wrong size or style due to an error by My Little Fan; or
-
otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after receiving the product. We recommend contacting us within seven days so that we can investigate promptly; however, this recommended timeframe does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
When contacting us, please provide:
-
your name and order number;
-
a description of the issue; and
-
clear photographs showing the product and the fault, damage or incorrect details.
We may request further information or ask you to return the product before providing a remedy.
Remedies
Where a product has a minor problem, we may choose to repair the product, remake it or otherwise correct the issue within a reasonable time.
Where a product has a major problem, you may be entitled to choose between a replacement and a refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
A major problem may include a product that:
-
would not have been purchased had the problem been known;
-
is substantially unfit for its normal purpose and cannot easily be fixed;
-
is substantially different from its description, sample or approved design; or
-
is unsafe.
Where appropriate, we may also offer a partial refund or store credit, but you are not required to accept store credit where the Australian Consumer Law entitles you to another remedy.
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.
Returning a product
Please contact us before returning a product. Products returned without prior approval may not be accepted or may delay the assessment of your claim.
If we confirm that the product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise covered by the Australian Consumer Law, My Little Fan will cover reasonable return postage costs or provide suitable return instructions.
Where a returned product is found not to be faulty and does not match the approved return reason, the customer may be responsible for return postage and any costs associated with sending the product back.
Sizing
Customers are responsible for reviewing the sizing information provided on the product page before ordering.
Sizing can vary between garment types and suppliers. A product will not generally be considered faulty merely because the selected size does not fit, provided the product supplied matches the size ordered and its stated measurements within reasonable manufacturing tolerances.
Minor variations
Because products are individually manufactured and printed, minor variations may occur in:
-
colour or shade;
-
print placement;
-
image cropping;
-
stitching;
-
garment measurements; and
-
the appearance of the design on different garment sizes.
Reasonable manufacturing variations that do not materially affect the product’s appearance, quality or intended use are not considered faults.
Customer-supplied content
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all images, logos, names, artwork and other content submitted to My Little Fan are correct and that they have permission to use them.
We are not responsible for errors, poor print quality or other issues caused by inaccurate, incomplete, corrupted, low-resolution or unsuitable files supplied by the customer, provided the finished product reasonably reflects the material submitted or the design approved.
Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
